Protect UK Aid Campaign
This campaign is being organised by the recently formed Labour International Development Network (LIDN).
UK Development and Aid is seriously threatened under the current Tory government, first by the takeover of DFID by the Foreign Office, that’s been rated ‘poor’ for transparency and accountability, and now by major slashes to #UKAid.
On 15 Nov 2020, the Labour International General Committee unanimously voted in favour of a motion proposing to launch a campaign to Protect #UKAid.
