Now’s the chance for LI Branches, Groups and individual members to have their say. Emily Thornberry has started the Defence Review by publishing the terms of reference on the YourBritain.org.uk website and stating clearly that “we will encourage the widest possible participation of Labour Party members and affiliates as well as defence specialists, NGOs and the armed forces. It will be open, transparent and inclusive and its conclusions will be base on the evidence.”

At our next LI Committee meeting we will agree our internal deadlines for a CLP response.
