So here I am! Arrived yesterday afternoon to a wild, wet and windy Liverpool. Quite a contrast to the unexpected sun and warmth of Brighton, last year! The Liverpool Eye big wheel was standing deserted with the cabs swinging wildly in the wind. Have done a tour of the area – really interesting – quite a few museums and I popped into the Tate for a quick look around and a coffee.

Unlike last year, when Labour red was everywhere on the streets, most Labour Party members are huddled away in cafes and bars, out of the rain and wind! The forecast says stormy weather all weekend… maybe both inside and outside the Conference??!!

I am going to the Women’s Conference today and hope to meet the other LI women. We have a WhatsApp group for communicating, so should be able to find one another.
