Under the new rules for Labour International, as agreed with the NEC, the previous Labour International Coordinating Committee (LICC) has been replaced by an expanded Labour international Executive Committe (LIEC) elected by LI members on a OMOV basis.

The changeover meeting at which the new LIEC officially took over administrative duties from the LICC took place on 28th April 2019, and its period of office lasts until the completion of the election process in 2021.
There were no candidates nominated for BAME Officer so this position is still open for nominations. As we are one woman short of the 50% women quota, this position must be filled by a woman, or two women job-sharing.
